Arts of Life:
25th Anniversary Retrospective

August 11 – September 30, 2025

Welcome to the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Arts of Life, a milestone that marks a quarter of a century of elevating the broader arts community by challenging the notion that disabled artists are “outside” their contemporary peers.

Starting on day one, through a Collective Decision-Making model, Arts of Life has been a guiding force for creating an equitable, creative collective. By pairing leadership opportunities with creative practice support, they’re changing how disabled artists value their work and are valued in the art ecosystem.

This year, Arts of Life is commemorating their journey with a book celebrating 25 artists who have impacted our community over 25 years, special events, and an unprecedented exhibition in partnership with DMoC that shares stories of inspiration that have defined their legacy.
