Chicago Emerging Museum Professionals is an energetic alliance of museum lovers and professionals in the Chicagoland area who believe that museums and cultural institutions are more relevant to society than ever before. Our social and educational activities focus on helping individuals in the early-to-mid stages of their museum careers effect change in the field.

Our participants are: 1) engaged in conversations around current issues in museum practice; 2) active advocates on behalf of cultural organizations; and 3) facilitators of professional collaborations that explore new ideas and encourage new voices to be heard.

Membership in CEMP is free and open to all.
