Design Museum Works with Office of Experience: Paper + Thread Bookbinding Workshop
Saturday December 7th 2019, 12:00 pm–2:30 pm
This event will take place at 1917 N Elston Ave., Chicago.
Learn about the fundamentals of non-adhesive bookbinding and make your very own sketchbook or notebook in this Design Museum Works workshop presented by Office of Experience.
Participants will use collage and risograph printing to design a cover, and then using a needle and thread, bind together pages to create a usable sketchbook of their own creation. Give it as a gift for the holidays or keep it for yourself!
This collaborative workshop with the Office of Experience (OX) will be the last installment in a two-part series for 2018. OX is a design and digital innovation consultancy for the modern marketing age and combines research, strategy, technology and design to help organizations reinvent their business and create next-generation brands, products and communication strategies. In an era of unprecedented disruption, OX is built to transform.
A special thank you to ReSketch for their generous donation of paper for this event.
