Dan Friedman: Radical Modernist

April 28th – August 12th 2017

Dan Friedman: Radical Modernist is a design exhibition that explores the work of designer and artist Dan Friedman (1945–1995). Curated by Friedman himself, it reaffirms the twentieth-century tenets of modernism, rejects corporate style, and advocates for expression and purpose in one’s work. A combination of objects, photography, and Friedman’s philosophy on work and life, the show celebrates risk, experimentation, and optimism.

Originally created by Dan Friedman himself, it continues to be shown by his brother Ken Friedman with curatorial assistance from Chris and Esther Pullman, and Mara Holt Skov and Steven Skov Holt.
