A Conversation on Why Design Matters with Debbie Millman

About this Event

AIGA Chicago and The Design Museum of Chicago presents a conversation on Why Design Matters with Debbie Millman.

Design Matters is one of the world's very first podcasts, to which many of us subscribe and listen on repeat. Broadcasting independently for 17 years, the show is about how creative people design the arc of their lives. For the first time ever, a book about Design Matters with interviews and essays is launching on 2/22/2022.

Debbie will dig into the process of making the book and what she has learned hosting the popular podcast. After her presentation, Debbie will join Tanner Woodford of the Design Museum Chicago for an intimate conversation on what it means to design a creative life.

Ticket sales will support AIGA Chicago initiatives such as student scholarships and grants, and Design Museum of Chicago for their free community programming initiatives.

Zoom information will be sent out the day of the event.
