ChiDM Presents: TypeHike

  • Chicago Design Museum 108 North State Street Chicago, IL, 60602 United States (map)
ChiDM Presents on a yellow-orange geometric shape with blue paint splatter on top.

TypeHike is a collaborative non-profit design project that celebrates and supports the outdoors though typography created by David Rygiol and James Louis Walker. The project was born from the belief that all designers are obligated to use their talent and ability to make the world a more beautiful place.

Join us to hear Rygiol discuss the inspiration for the NPS 100 project, TypeHike‘s process, and what’s in store for the future. Chicago-based designers who participated in NPS 100 will also discuss their inspiration and process for their particular posters.

ChiDM Presents is a semi-monthly event series within Dan Friedman: Radical Modernist. All events are free and open to the public, and held at ChiDM on the 3rd floor of Block 37.

> This event has ended.

The museum is closed until June 30th, 2020.

While distancing we are planning virtual events, moving our exhibitions online, and publishing student design projects. Take care of yourself!
