Design Museum Presents: Creating and Strengthening Communities

  • Design Museum of Chicago 72 E. Randolph Chicago United States (map)
Magazine page of people riding bicycles and a bike alone.

In the city, you see individual cyclists all the time. For the weekend warriors, sometimes you see larger groups. But outside of the camaraderie of the sport, how else are Chicagoans building communities with bicycles? Join us at 6 pm on Thursday, 2/7 to hear from a variety of organizations, including Envision Unlimited, TPAN, and Romina N. Castillo, Community Planner at Muse Community + Design, and Vision Zero Consultant at the Chicago Department of Transportation, about their work and impact.

Associated with Keep Moving, Design Museum Presents is the second of three discussions focused on contemporary cycling in Chicago. This presentation will take place at the Expo 72 gallery at 72 E. Randolph, directly across the street from the Chicago Cultural Center. Design Museum Presents events are always free and open to the public.
