Chicago's Mechanical Keyboard Discord Keyboard Meetup December Edition!

The Chicago Mechanical Keyboard Discord server is hosting another meetup!

The Chicago Mech Keebs Discord server is excited to host another meetup! We've been blessed with the opportunity to host the event at the Design Museum of Chicago. The Design Museum is funded publicly, through donations, but free and open to the public year round. On December 4th, they will be hosting us privately!

Why Eventbrite ticketing?

Our prior meetups didn't take attendance all that seriously, and we've experienced some negative repercussions. Therefore, moving forward, we are being more strict with attendance.

This time around, we want to make sure we're covering our costs and giving back to the venue! All profits from the entry fee will be donated to the Design Museum. You are also welcome to donate to the Design Museum outside of what is included in the entry fee. They have a donation box and Venmo link on site.

Ticketing

There is a cap on attendance this time around, so make sure to buy your tickets early! We're targeting a capacity of ~100.

Giveaways

Each attendee that has purchased a ticket on Eventbrite will be eligible for the giveaway. Giveaway-specific details will be provided on the website as we get closer to the event. As always, our sponsors provide their product out of their own goodwill. Please be respectful and not try to abuse any potential resale value, and, if you win a giveaway item, take items that will be useful to you, not just your wallet.

As always, attendees are allowed to donate items for the giveaway to be named as sponsors.

We are currently considering a 2 board limit. This might change depending on final attendance numbers. You are of course free to bring your artisans caps to display.
