The exhibition features a powerful site-specific installation that pays homage to Chicago’s architectural legacy while simultaneously showcasing the work of three dynamic Dublin-based architecture firms: A2, GKMP, and Ryan Kennihan Architects.

This event is free and open to the public.

ChiDM is an official Affiliate Partner of The Chicago Architecture Biennial. We are proud to announce that partial funding for New Horizon exhibition programming was made possible by a grant from The Graham Foundation.

Irish Design 2015 (ID2015) is a year-long initiative backed by the Irish government exploring, promoting, and celebrating Irish design throughout Ireland and internationally.

New Horizon: Architecture from Ireland is curated by Raymund Ryan and Nathalie Weadick and is the second installment of an international program that started in June 2015 at the London Festival of Architecture and will continue in Shenzhen/Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture in December.
